The mainstream use of social media bombards our youth with beautiful images of flawless complexions on high profile celebrities and political figures. Due to this widely accepted and ignorant photo-retouched perfect portrayal, youth are at a high risk for developing pychosocial distress as a natural response to skin conditions they exhibit, such as acne, rosacea, and psoriasis. These symptoms can include shame, embarrassment, social withdrawal, anger, frustration, and lack of confidence.
Through Refresh Facial Bar funding, product donations and our team of Licensed Esthetician volunteer efforts, we support charitable programs that enable us to have a platform to provide skin care education to youth. With the power of skin care education, youth are able to face life's challenges with healthy skin and thus, more confidence.
Mission
The Freshie Foundation believes having healthy skin makes youth feel attractive, helps them become more confident, and allows them to be more social. Our mission is to empower the next generation to implement a daily skin care regimen that will afford youth the knowledge to solve skin issues and maintain healthy skin.
If you would like to be involved with the foundation, please reach out to us. With your support, we can make a difference in improving the self image of today's youth.
